Oh man, when I was going through my hard years, I would get these scriptures out and I would cling to these promises. I was so ashamed because of what my father had done to me. When I saw Isaiah 61:7-8, man: Instead of your former shame you will have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach your people shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double what they forfeited; and everlasting joy shall be theirs. v. 8: For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong with violence or a burnt offering. And I will faithfully give them their recompense… “Recompense” is another word for reward. Those who come to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. I have diligently sought God for almost 30 years and I am living in the reward applause: And all the people that don’t like it are not going to make me sorry about having it. Amen? Amen!: I’ve traded in my ashes. I’ve traded in my mourning. I’ve gone through a lot of stuff. I’ve had to press past the pain. Joyce Meyer Online I’ve had to do things afraid. And I can encourage you, I can teach you that God is no respecter of persons and what he does for one person, he will do for every single one of us. God loves you and he’s got an awesome plan for your life. And there’s no devil in hell and no person on earth that can keep you from God’s will if you’ll lock into Jesus and refuse to give up. Amen?
